Ridgedale Farm: “The Regenerative Agriculture Festival”
Rickard Perkins och Ridgedale Farm bjuder in:
Come together with like-minded folks from across Scandinavia, Europe and afar for two fun and inspirational days focused on learning, networking and co-creating. At our sister farm and restaurant space, we join together to camp on the shores of beautiful lake Fryken and feast together with regeneratively farmed produce direct from Ridgedale. The days are full with over 50 talks, presentations and workshops and evenings we open up the bar and have a special live concert planned for you all!
Time: 22-23 of July 2026
Place: Sillegården, Värmland
We've seen Regen Ag gatherings get co-opted by chemical companies who pursue their green-washing and that have no place in the future we want to see for our farms or children. We want to make a space that focuses on human-scale integrity farming, where the actual event is more participatory than consumptive.
The intention is for this to be largely a co-created event. We have an incredible venue, and we have incredible food from our farm. The Head Chef will oversee the logistics, but we want people to participate in managing a whole forest-raised pig on the spit, or prepare whatever dishes you are inspired to from the amazing produce around. We have a bar stocked with organic and biodynamic wines direct from the producers. We have multiple rooms and an outdoor stage to facilitate multiple simultaneous sessions. We can feast on fire and from the kitchen, swim in the lake and spend the late evening around a campfire with good music and company.
We are excited to gather dedicated practitioners of human-scale regenerative agriculture. We have no budget for speaker travel or fees; we're all in this together. We are not putting this on to make an income for ourselves; we are doing this to create a meeting point because we believe in the power of sharing and intimate networks. The ticket price covers the cost of your food and hosting you. In this way, we can keep this event grass-roots and way more participatory and fun! It's a chance to shine a light on many people and projects and build on a powerful network of pioneers.
Whilst we will generally have talks in English, if you are from the Nordic countries and prefer to present in your native language, this is of course possible.
Example Areas of interest for talks/presentations/workshops
We would like as many as possible to contribute and share your knowledge and experiences, whether you are well-known in the field or new to farming and want to share your farming journey. We can all learn so much from each other! We are organising around 40-minute slots throughout both days, with a possibility for some 90-minute sessions. We welcome slideshows, discussions as well as practicums. We have multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. We want this to be participant-led; we are primarily here to facilitate and offer our incredible space.
